Trash Bag Slide for Patients with a cast

Dr. Leavit, here is a trick that should help your patients with a cast get dressed easily.

I discovered that a trash bag acts like a slide or a "slip". It simply covers all the rough surfaces of the cast and allows clothes to glide on easily. To get dressed, you simply slide a plastic trash or shopping bag over the cast like a sock. Pull the pant leg over it (it slips on easily!) and then remove the bag. To slide the pant leg off, just do the reverse. Getting dressed takes seconds--And no more painful tugging!
